I’ve now listened to Johnson’s climate change speech to the UN earlier this week – the one in which he mentioned Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy and also said he was going to change his own name by deed poll from “Boris” to “Boreas” (the ancient Greek god personifying the ‘north wind’). However, given that I personally see Johnson as a spoilt child who has lied throughout his entire life for his own self-interest, I thought it was important to check how what Johnson said to the UN stacks up against what he’s said in the past and the policies his government is currently pursuing. The good news is I’ve now found the definitive answer – see https://bit.ly/3i4URFC

This is an extremely well-informed article containing the text of Johnson’s speech annotated with comments about reality. I commend this article for your attention.

If you’re a long-term, passionate fan of Boris Johnson, this article may at least cause you to reflect briefly on the provable damage being done to the UK (and the wider world) by the man you admire.

If, on the contrary, you’ve already come to see Johnson as someone completely unfit for the role of UK Prime Minister, then I hope this article will strengthen your resolve to do whatever’s needed to kick Johnson out of office at the next General Election, if not earlier.

I do understand why Johnson has had many supporters in the past – but not now.

If there’s anything useful I can do to help kick Johnson out of office before I die, then I’ll at least have made a beneficial difference to the future of my country.
