Farage tells PM to ‘stop DITHERING’ and deliver Brexit NOW – and predicts MORE shocks, NIGEL Farage has warned Theresa May to “stop dithering” and Trigger Article 50 – and warned of more political shocks to come in 2017.
The former Ukip leader said nothing had been achieved in the six months since last summer’s in-out referendum and it was time to get a move on. He also predicted “even bigger” political upsets in the New Year, following the shock Leave and Trump victories.
Speaking at the European Council summit meeting today, he said: “I hope that we see tomorrow the PM stop dithering on Brexit. “It’s been six months since we voted for our liberation and at the minute we’re being dictated to by courts and European commissioners and told what we can and cannot do.
“I hope we do that but I suspect we won’t and I suspect the other 27 leaders will continue on the same course.”He said the slow progress by the Prime Minister and the reaction of the other EU leaders to Brexit would result in more shocks across the bloc.
He said: “I think we can all agree that 2016 has been a momentous and historic year. And as it’s Christmas, let’s think of those events as the three wise men bearing there gifts. Nigel Farage’s EU speech drew the usual mixed reaction from other MEPs.
“First you had the Brexit deliverance. Then you had the Trump triumph. And thirdly of course the Italian rebellion. “Except in this case the gifts were all the same: democracy and the rebirth of the nation state.
Nigel Farage said not enough had been done in the 6 months since the EU referendum “You can all look forward to some even bigger dramatic shocks coming in 2017. It’s going to be, for nation state democrats, a very happy new year.”

But in case you had not noticed Mr Farage, the vote was far from a landslide and in order not to tear the Country (that you purport to love) apart, the views and needs of nearly half of the country who voted remain also need to be taken into consideration.
The vote was poorly planned and presented admittedly, but the one thing that was not being voted on was the type of Brexit we should have. So stop all of this garbage you are coming out with and ‘prepare for some shocks in 2017 yourself’.
